Prolon: A different kind of diet plan that works.

 

What is Prolon fmd?

Prolon fasting-mimicking diet (fmd) plan is the brainchild of Dr. Llongo from the University of Southern California.  Research sponsored by the National Insititute of health led to the creation of this diet plan.

 

How is Prolon different from other diet plans?

The process involves only 5 days and done every month for at least 3 months. It is 5 days on and 25 days off. The box comes in with 5 packets, one for each day. The contents of each packet are specifically made to be used that day. You have to stay within the plan without any deviations. It is better done with a partner for added support. The key here is that there is no need for lengthy lifestyle changes needed to achieve your goals of weight loss and healthy living.

 

How is it tolerated?

The first two days are easy. The last three days are a bit of a challenge but can be done. The key is to remain well hydrated.

Who should not be on the plan?

Pregnancy is a time for a healthy diet. Those who are being treated for diabetes should not be on this program.

The cost ranges from 220 to 250 $ for each of the 5-day program and is done under the guidance of a physician.
